Network - Press Release

"If you put it in your DVD player today you'll feel like it was written

last week. The commoditization of the news and the devaluing of

truth are just a part of our way of life now. You wish Chayefsky

could come back to life long enough to write 'The Internet."

Creator of The West Wing and The Newsroom and writing-award magnet, Aaron Sorkin

Arrow Video is delighted to announce release of Sidney Lumet’s seminal 70s classic Network. Featuring a powerhouse cast list including Peter Finch, Faye Dunaway, Robert Duvall, William Holden and Warren Beatty, the four-times Academy Award-winning film, which also won a handful on Golden Globes and BAFTAs on release, will arrive on Blu-ray for the first time in the UK from 23rd March 2015.

Rollerball - Press Release

THE FUTURE IS NOW. THE FUTURE IS ROLLERBALL

Arrow Video is thrilled to announce the Blu-ray release of the iconic 1975-futuristic dystopian

thriller Rollerball. Released on 23^rd March 2015, Rollerball represents the very best of the “Future Sport” flicks; a pre-cursor to such genre classics as The Running Man, Battle Royale and even The Hunger Games, the film explores the popularity of violent entertainment and the power of the media, but it goes further, looking more profoundly at the society beyond the game.

Stray Cat Rock - Then and now

We are big fans of 'Now and Then' comparison pieces (we even made one for our Mark of the Devil release!), so when eagle-eyed fan James-Masaki Ryan mocked up some great comparison photos of the infamous chase scene from Stray Cat Rock: Delinquent Girl Boss we jumped at the chance to share these with all of you.

The Manchurian Candidate - Press Release

Arrow Video is delighted to announce release of John Frankenheimer’s 1962 Cold War suspense thriller The Manchurian Candidate. Starring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury in her Oscar-nominated role, this newly released Blu-ray and DVD will be available to own from 23rd February 2015. One of the all-time classic paranoid conspiracy thrillers (which developed a conspiracy theory of its own when it became very hard to see between the Kennedy assassination of 1963 and its reissue twenty-five years later), it remains remarkably fresh today, a tribute to just how astute Frankenheimer and source novelist Richard Condon were in distilling age-old fears about foreign invasion and mind control into a heart-poundingly thrilling drama.
